Specialty: Emergency Medicine Can take ABEM, or ABIM/ABFM with 2 years ED experience Coverage Needs : Need ASAP - Ongoing Shifts: 7a-7p, 3p-1a, 7p-7a; NP/PA 7a-5p, 10a-8p, 2p-12a, 8p-6a Setting: General and Surgical hospital 45 ED beds and 5 triage rooms Level 3 trauma center Call: Specialty backup on call (Surgery, Neuro, Cardiology, OBGYN, Ortho) Census: Annual volume 40,000 Average Daily encounters 32/day Admits 30% EMS arrival 33% Transfers 3% Support Staff: MA, RN, NP/PA Procedures: All Standard ER procedures EMR: EPIC Board Certification: Board Certified Required Travel: Hospital will cover. Credentialing timeline: Expedited Onboarding hoping for April start Requirements: Active NCstate license Active DEA in NC or willing to transfer ACLS, PALS
