A 60-bed inpatient rehab hospital on Cape Cod is adding a Physiatrist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation position. About the opportunity: Join our inpatient team in a full-time, community-based role (no academic or research obligations) Serve as the attending and/or consultant for 12?16 patients, managing both medical and rehabilitation needs alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team Care for inpatients with complex rehab and medical needs Daily rounding, admission H&Ps, progress notes, discharge summaries Rehab-specific documentation: Physician Rehab Assessments, IPOCs, Interdisciplinary Team Conferences (ITCs) Average 1 admission/day (max 2) Participate in staff meetings and call rotation, including weekends (typically 1:8) Engage in hospital or division activities as assigned Monday-Friday, approx. 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Offering a guaranteed base salary, a $15k sign-on bonus, and up to $10k in relocation expenses Weekend call stipend Community/Location: Cape Cod?s oldest town, offering scenic beaches, extensive bike and nature trails, and a charming village center.
