Day shift, 5x8 hours from 08:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Hand Occupational Therapist with at least two years of experience to provide excellent patient care in an acute care setting. You will be responsible for evaluating patient needs, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' recovery and independence.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients and create individualized treatment plans.
Implement occupational therapy interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families about therapeutic processes and their role in recovery.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hand Occupational Therapist.
Valid certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).
Additional certifications in Manual Therapy and Lymphedema preferred.
Experience with community hospital or acute care settings is advantageous.
