Legal Counsel

Zasio is seeking a part-time Legal Counsel to join its growing business in our Boise, Idaho headquarters. The Legal Counsel is responsible for the administrative and legal affairs of the company, which includes preparing, reviewing, and negotiating company agreements related to the company’s software solutions and consulting practice, such as software licenses, cloud hosting agreements, consulting agreements, and other legal documents. This position requires the ability to anticipate and mitigate a wide range of legal matters from HR to general business guidance, drafting corporate documents, and conducting research and analysis of applicable laws.
Optional full-time available with additional responsibilities in our consulting practice. This requires the ability to manage projects, research, analyze, and effectively communicate findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Relevant Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
Solution-oriented toward business and legal issues
Highly motivated and effective self-starter with strong track record of managing multiple projects to a timely and successful completion
Ability to manage and prioritize work
Proficiency in legal research, including Lexis, Westlaw, and other research tools
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highest level of integrity and professionalism
Degree from accredited law school with strong academic credentials
