Required Qualifications
Minimum of Master's degree and 10 years experience.
Master's degree must be in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Mathematics.
In lieu of a Master's degree, candidate must possess an additional 4 years of relevant experience or specialized training and one of the following active certifications: CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GCSA, or GICSP.
8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience designing and managing hybrid cloud/on-premise environments.
Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
Strong understanding of networking, identity management, virtualization, and storage technologies.
Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, DODAF, or SABSA.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Active Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
TOGAF certification.
Experience supporting federal or DoD programs.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support the design, integration, and governance of a hybrid cloud and on-premise environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across cloud platforms and legacy infrastructure, with a proven ability to align technology strategy with mission and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks spanning hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure
Develop and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and governance policies across the environment
Lead the integration of cloud-native services with existing on-premise systems, ensuring interoperability, security, and scalability
Collaborate with stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to define and execute technology roadmaps
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption aligned with organizational goals
Support migration planning and execution for workloads transitioning between on-premise and cloud environments
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data governance requirements across all platforms
Produce and maintain architecture documentation, including reference architectures, solution designs, and decision records
This position is fully on-site M-F in the Baltimore-Metropolitan area.
