Production Scheduler

Responsible for managing and improving production scheduling to ensure efficient operations. Aligns schedules with demand, maintains accurate data, and supports performance through analysis and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage daily production schedules based on demand, inventory, materials, and capacity.

Review schedules, priorities, and system data to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Coordinate with production, inventory, sales, and other teams to resolve conflicts and shortages.

Monitor production flow and identify risks, delays, or bottlenecks

Prepare and analyze reports on production, inventory, and performance metrics

Improve planning, scheduling processes, and reporting systems

Support inventory control, stock reviews, and accuracy improvements

Ensure the availability of materials and supplies for continuous production

Maintain accurate planning and inventory data in systems

Provide guidance and support to team members

Collaborate with leadership to improve planning visibility and effectiveness

Follow safety procedures and complete additional assigned tasks

Key Requirements

5+ years of production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment (high SKU preferred)

Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems

Advanced Excel skills with reporting and data analysis expertise

Proven ability to coordinate across production, inventory, and sales functions

Solid understanding of production flow and inventory control

Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling

Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights

Proactive identification of risks and inefficiencies

Clear communication across teams and levels

Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities

Problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and guide others
