ABOUT US
Tomah Area Ambulance Service is a municipality owned and operated Critical Care Paramedic Service in Tomah, Wisconsin. Our agency provides 911 emergency services to approximately 500+ square miles in Monroe, Jackson, and Juneau County, serving a population of over 19,000 citizens and visitors. Responding to over 3,600 calls for service, we provide Advanced Life Support 911 and Interfacility Transport services as well as Paramedic Intercept and Mutual Aid services to surrounding services. As a rural EMS service, we have progressive protocols which allow our providers the opportunity to use their critical-thinking skills and training to make a difference in our patient’s lives.
SALARY & INCENTIVE PAY
Advanced EMTs: $59,200 – $73,300+/yr
Paramedics: $66,700 – $83,000+/yr
Critical Care: $70,400 – $86,800+/yr
Lateral transfer credit – up to 5 years
Platoon schedule: 48/96
Overtime opportunities

State of Wisconsin AEMT or Paramedic license
Critical Care endorsement (preferred/if applicable)
Current ACLS (Paramedics)
Current BLS CPR for Healthcare Provider
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
