Role Overview
Join a large, collaborative US-focused long/short equity platform
Act as the lead analyst for building products, housing, and related subsectors
Own idea generation from initial research through portfolio implementation
Work closely with senior PMs while maintaining clear sector autonomy
Develop differentiated, fundamental views across cyclicals, structural growers, and event-driven opportunities within coverage
Candidate Profile
Minimum 2+ years of buyside equity research experience
Strong preference for candidates with long/short investing exposure
Deep understanding of building materials, homebuilders, housing-related industrials, and adjacent supply chains
Proven ability to generate actionable long and short ideas
Comfortable operating as the primary sector expert within a broader team environment
Strong financial modeling, variant perception, and risk-aware mindset
