About This Role

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Orthopedics, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this full-time role, you will provide care in our Orthopedic clinic for urgent, walk-in, pre- and post-operative needs. You will also provide consult in the Emergency Department and first assist in surgery. Time spent in clinic, hospital, and OR will be roughly even (1-2 days spent per week in each location).
In Addition
You will practice at Cedar City Hospital in Cedar City, Utah.
You’ll work day shifts during the week and will also be asked to take after-hours call on a regular cadence.
Call will be Q4, one week per month.
This is a full time, fully benefits-eligible position.

What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)

Unrestricted Utah PA license
Current Utah DEA certificate required prior to start date
Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
APPs with Orthopedic, Emergency Medicine, and/or Trauma experience are preferred

Work Details

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Hourly range: $56.76 - $87.59 (dependent on experience)
