PER DIEM Registered Dietician
– Inpatient Clinical Setting
We are looking for a PER DIEM Registered Dietician to work in our inpatient clinical setting at Hampton Behavioral Health Center. This position plays a vital role in the healthcare team by providing nutritional care to patients in various disease states and conditions.
Responsibilities
Clinical Dietician monitor, assess, and optimize nutrition status based on the patient's current medical condition and/or nutrition adequacy.
Coordinate medical and nutritional needs, and make recommendations for feedings and/or dietary supplements.
Clinical Dietician instruct patients on how to make nutritionally sound food choices to speed the recovery process, prevent disease and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Conduct Nutritional Assessments as needed with complete documentation in medical record in accordance with Healthcare policies of Hampton, NJ State and Joint Commission.
Provides patient education individually and in group setting.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics
Must have a Registered Dietician Certification
At least one year experience as Registered Dietician in a Healthcare setting; psychiatric preferred.
Must have current CPR/BLS certification
