Job Summary
The Registered Nurse works in an ambulatory care setting, collaborating closely with healthcare providers and clinic support staff to deliver outpatient care. This role focuses on managing chronic conditions, providing patient‑centered education, and administering treatments in a clinic‑based, non‑acute environment. Emphasis is placed on coordinated, team‑based care to support positive health outcomes in the ambulatory setting.

Associate's degree in Nursing.

Education and training in specialized care, such as prenatal care and pediatrics.
Experience
Customer service related experience working with the general public (1 year).
Preferred Experience
Care coordination experience.
Healthcare information systems experience, such as electronic health record and practice management systems.
Phlebotomy experience.
Perinatal experience.
Phone triage experience.
Ambulatory care setting/clinic or physician's office experience.
Working with low-income, multi‑ethnic populations.
Credentials
Registered Nurse license with the State of Washington.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification – must be obtained within 45 days of employment.
Verified immunity to measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), and varicella.
Job Specific Functions / Performance
Apply professional nursing theory within the scope of practice for nurses licensed in Washington.
Improve patients’ health through management of chronic conditions, including risk assessment, care plan development and coordination, and follow‑up.
Use a patient‑centered medical home approach, collaborating with other specialties to provide patient care.
Facilitate diagnostic screenings to address care gaps, manage chronic conditions, and educate patients around disease management and wellness promotion.
Support patients with creative solutions.
