Job Summary
Radiologic technologist (x‑ray technologist or radiographer) is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of all x‑ray equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.
Minimum Qualification
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required; Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required; Current CPR certification.
High School Diploma or GED.
Special Requirements
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing/Composing Reports.
Analytical, CRT, and Medical Terms.
Work Schedule: Flexible.
Equipment Operated
Ionizing Radiation equipment, image processing equipment, and other related clinical equipment.
