Cardiac Advanced Heart Failure SPRN - NP/PA - Piedmont Atlanta
Overview: Advanced Practice Provider Heart Failure PRN Atlanta, GA. Piedmont is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Heart Failure team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This is a PRN position needing at least one consistent day a week as well as coverage on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities: In this role you will:
Complete office visits with newly diagnosed patients as well as follow up appointments
Spend time educating patients on condition and medication management
Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients
Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.
This is a slower paced clinic with a large emphasis on educating patients about their condition and managing their medications. Appointments are scheduled to allow time with each patient.

Qualifications
Ideal candidates will be able to commit to one consistent 8-hour day a week as well as have availability for PTO/Sick coverage in clinic.
Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
