Veterinary Technician – Glendale, CA

Our clinic offers convenient hours, unparalleled customer service, and a full service offering, including various types of surgeries, dental cleanings/extractions, and ultrasounds. We also offer puppy and kitten packages.

Role Responsibilities

Serve the critical role of being the liaison between doctors, clients, and patients

Organize and track patient diagnostics

Coordinate hospitalized patient treatment

Prepare patient discharge reports and in-hospital updates

Communicate with clients, referring DVMs, and pharmacies as needed regarding appointments, medical concerns, patient updates, referrals, and prescriptions

Assist veterinary staff in animal restraint, radiography, and with lab equipment

Experience & Skills Requirements

Minimum 1 – 3 years of veterinary experience

Basic knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology

Ability to communicate calmly, clearly, and effectively with both staff and clients

Strong verbal and written skills

Strong attention to detail and follow through

Excellent customer service skills and a desire to provide outstanding service to clients

Ability to handle high stress situations

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $20 - $30 /hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
