TMC is a 414‑bed acute care facility located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border.

Responsibilities
As a registered nurse in the Texoma Heart Group, you will perform a wide variety of patient‑care duties, including:

Assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.

Interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), venipuncture, and procedures as directed by the physician.

Documenting in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with the IPM guideline.

Preparing treatment rooms for the examination of patients and assisting in covering the front desk as required.

Executing prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administering prescribed medications, and monitoring and documenting treatment progress and patient response.

Delegating as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act, and referring to and consulting with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent or resolve problems or concerns.

Educating patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) – completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing.

Minimum of two (2) years of college or an associate’s degree; BSN preferred.

Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Current state‑registered nurse license.

Minimum of one to three (1‑3) years working as a registered nurse required; three to five (3‑5) years of related experience preferred.

General office procedures knowledge.

Proficiency with basic computer programs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Must perform courteously and professionally in all interactions.

Ability to operate office equipment such as a fax machine, copier, and telephone system, as well as an EKG machine and a computer.

Works in a well‑lit, OSHA‑standard environment; exposure to infectious diseases and irregular hours possible.
