What You’ll Do
As a Medical Assistant II, you’ll be a critical part of the care team—supporting medical providers, assisting with both clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. Your work helps drive quality care, patient safety, and healing for those in recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for exams by gathering medical history and vitals
Perform phlebotomy, urine drug screenings, and CLIA-waived testing
Administer injections per provider direction and training
Assist with prescription management and medication counts
Support outreach efforts: appointment reminders, re-engagement, and patient follow-up
Manage lab and PPE supplies, maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
Collaborate with front desk and lab teams to support daily workflowUphold safety standards, patient confidentiality, and infection control protocols
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or LPN program
1+ year experience as a Medical Assistant and in phlebotomy
Willingness to train on injections if not already proficient
Experience in behavioral health, billing, or healthcare settings is a plus
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
Proficient in EMRs and Microsoft Office
