We are seeking a
CNA-M (Certified Nursing Assistant - Medication Technician)
to join our team in Maine.
You will bridge the gap between direct bedside care and medication management, ensuring our residents stay healthy, comfortable, and safe. We are currently hiring for both
Day
and
Evening
shifts to help provide 24/7 excellence to our community.
Key Responsibilities
Medication Administration:
Safely prepare and administer routine medications (oral, topical, etc.) under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Direct Care:
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Clinical Observation:
Monitor resident vital signs and keep a keen eye out for any side effects or changes in behavior after medication administration.
Documentation:
Accurately record medication MARs and daily care notes using our electronic health record system.
Safety & Support:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all residents while providing emotional support and companionship.
Shift Choice:
Consistent schedules with either day or evening blocks.
Requirements
Certification:
Active Maine
CNA license
in good standing.
Experience:
Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care is highly preferred.
Reliability:
Ability to work the specified shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) including alternating weekends.
Compassion:
A genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors and those in need of long-term care.
