Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Long Term Care (LTC) (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13‑week travel assignment in Town & Country, MO.
Days: 8; 35 hrs GTD
Start Date: 5/18/2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Location: Town & Country, MO
Hourly Pay: $23.00
Non‑taxed Stipend: $735.00
Weekly Total Pay: $1,338.75
Non‑billable hours: 8 hrs
PTAs implement components of patient care, obtain data related to the treatments provided, and collaborate with the PT to modify care as necessary. PTAs assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to people at the end of life.
Key Responsibilities
Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups
Read instructions from Physical Therapist
Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients
Speak with families to find best at‑home techniques
Keep physical therapy clean and organized
Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to physical therapy area
Complete administrative tasks, like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
Compensation
Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non‑taxed Stipend (if eligible)
Pay package details provided upon offer
Requirements
1 year of PTA experience is required
LTC or Rehab Experience is required
PTA license is required
Must be submitted at the posted rate, if requested rate is higher candidate will be redirected
Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Compliance/Screening (Pre‑Start)
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
