Position Overview
An outpatient rehabilitation center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. This role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence in a dynamic outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist
Educate patients on exercises and at-home care programs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and outcomes
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
Support patients in achieving functional goals and improved quality of life
Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
Previous outpatient or rehabilitation experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Commitment to patient-centered care
