As an Assistant Restaurant Leader at Angry Chickz, you’re a key player on our team. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to ensure the restaurant operates smoothly, providing exceptional dining experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Team Leadership: Motivating and leading your team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain our high standards.
Operational Excellence: Ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run efficiently, from food preparation to customer service to cleanliness.
Sales and Profitability: Contributing to the restaurant’s success by increasing sales, managing costs, and maximizing profitability.
Training and Development: Assisting in the training and development of team members, helping them excel in their roles.
Cultural Stewardship: Upholding and promoting Angry Chickz’s unique culture among both the team and customers.
Hands‑On Involvement: Actively involved in various tasks, from food preparation to customer interactions, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Self‑driven, flexible, energetic, and a strong communicator.
Excellent at solo missions and teamwork.
Ability to identify problems, set goals, create plans, and get things rolling.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the willingness to learn new tech tools.
Availability for all shift types, including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel if needed.
Professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting positively on Angry Chickz.
Experience managing restaurants; experience opening a new joint or local marketing is a plus.
Minimum age of 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Language Ability: Able to speak and comprehend directions in English. Able to read English. Spanish reading/speaking is helpful but not mandatory.
Reasoning Ability: Ability and willingness to solve problems individually and as a team.
Work Attire: Wear Angry Chickz uniform and non‑slip shoes required by the safety department.
Physical Demands
Must stand and walk for extended periods and bend and twist at the waist.
Frequent speaking and hearing.
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
Use of hands to grasp tools such as knife, spatula, ladle, and other utensils for food preparation.
Repetitive hand use.
Reaching for items below waist level (retrieving food items from walk‑in cooler or drawers), between waist and shoulder level (washing dishes, placing plates on shelf), and above shoulder (retrieving plates or containers from shelves).
Exposure to extreme cold (walk‑in cooler), extreme heat (stove, oven), moisture (water, steam, dishwasher), dust, fumes, or chemicals (cleaning solutions).
