Position Overview
CiQ is seeking a Manager, AI-Enabled Infrastructure & Building Technology specializing in AI-enabled infrastructure and building technologies to help clients modernize how they manage facilities, energy, and operational performance.

This role sits at the intersection of consulting, enterprise technology enablement, and infrastructure strategy. The ideal candidate has experience delivering transformation initiatives at a top consulting firm or enterprise technology company and understands how digital platforms, AI, and data can transform physical infrastructure.

The consultant will advise executive stakeholders while also guiding the implementation of technology-enabled solutions across complex building portfolios and infrastructure systems.

Core Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Strategic Consulting

Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and operational leaders across healthcare systems, commercial real estate portfolios, and infrastructure organizations.

Lead client engagements focused on AI enablement, digital infrastructure strategy, and operational transformation.

Assess existing building systems, data environments, and operational workflows to identify opportunities for AI-driven optimization.

Develop strategic roadmaps for deploying intelligent infrastructure platforms and digital operations capabilities.

Evaluate client data infrastructure, such as BAS, CMMS, and utility feeds, to determine readiness for automated workflows and AI-assisted decision-making.

Design and manage technical connections between disparate systems, such as BAS, CMMS, and the Current iQ platform.

Guide client organizations in developing and adopting AI-driven analytics and workflow orchestration.

Translate business and operational challenges into technology solutions and implementation strategies.

Partner with product and technology teams to deploy solutions that leverage building data, operational systems, and enterprise platforms.

Lead complex consulting engagements involving technology integration, operational transformation, and change management.

Translate standard operating procedures into repeatable digital workflows.

Work with client teams to implement new operating models enabled by AI and digital infrastructure platforms.

Manage deployment and adoption of solutions across facilities, engineering, and operations teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with CiQ platform and analytics teams to bring advanced technology capabilities to client engagements.

Work with engineering, facilities, and IT teams to integrate technology solutions with building systems and operational workflows.

Support proposal development, client presentations, and executive briefings.

Consult with stakeholders on enterprise AI readiness, organizational transformation, and change management.

Thought Leadership

Contribute to CiQ’s thought leadership around AI in infrastructure, intelligent buildings, and digital operations.

Represent CiQ in industry discussions, conferences, and client forums.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate combines consulting credibility with enterprise technology expertise and understands how to translate emerging technologies into real operational outcomes.

Candidates likely have experience in environments such as:

Enterprise technology companies (ServiceNow, IBM, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc.)

Smart buildings, energy systems, or infrastructure technology firms

Required Qualifications

10–15+ years of consulting or enterprise technology advisory experience

Experience leading technology transformation initiatives for large organizations

Strong understanding of AI, analytics, and digital platforms

Familiarity with building systems, infrastructure operations, or energy systems

Experience connecting disparate building and enterprise systems, such as BAS or CMMS

Proven ability to engage with C‑suite and executive stakeholders

Experience delivering complex technology implementations

Strong strategic thinking combined with practical execution skills

Excellent communication and client engagement skills

Preferred Experience

Experience with building technology platforms, IoT, or operational data environments

Knowledge of energy systems, facilities operations, or infrastructure performance

Experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar workflow systems

Familiarity with AI applications in operations, predictive maintenance, or infrastructure management

Background in healthcare facilities, commercial real estate, or large infrastructure portfolios

Within the first year, this consultant will:

Lead multiple strategic consulting engagements for major infrastructure organizations

Help clients design and deploy AI-enabled infrastructure operating models

Deliver measurable improvements in operational efficiency, asset performance, and infrastructure resilience
