What You Can Expect
Performs various cleaning and maintenance duties that are in accordance with established policies and procedure.
Responsible for bed management
Performs various linen duties that are in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Follow a daily cleaning schedule utilizing approved aseptic techniques and specialized cleaning processes using a variety of cleaning devices.
Responsible for the safe and proper use of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety precautions and wearing personal protective equipment when necessary. Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure that a sanitary environment is achieved at all times.
Provides functional and technical direction to other staff members.
EVS/Linen Services liaison and/or support to other departments.
May act as back-up to one or more processes outside of areas of expertise.
Handles difficult questions, issues, and problems requiring independent judgment.
Assists management with enforcing proper procedures and policies.
Serves as a trainer, lead, or subject matter expert. May assume responsibility during management absence.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience: 2 years relevant experience
