Registered Nurse Cardio Non-Invasive (Full-Time) Days-Detroit
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Current staffing model consists of five nurses who are responsible for supporting inpatient and outpatient cardiac testing at the Detroit main campus (in addition to maintaining outpatient services at two satellite locations).
Location
Detroit Main Campus, required to travel to other sites as needed (Fairlane Medical Center-Dearborn & Henry Ford Medical Center - Sterling Heights)

Education / Experience Required
BSN preferred.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
ICU or Stepdown skills with telemetry
Required to travel to other sites as needed
MUST have at least 2 years telemetry INTREPERTATION experience
MUST have at least 2 years as a RN working with patients on a cardiac, ICU or StepdownUnit
Certifications / Licenses Required
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
BLS/ACLS (already acquired)
