This isn’t a sit‑back‑and‑observe internship.
We’re looking for an EHS Intern who wants to build, improve, and streamline how safety actually works across a global organization. This role is office‑based, but highly connected to real operations—supporting island facilities and AUC construction teams.
You’ll focus on developing training, improving safety systems, and building workflows in KPA that are actually usable in the field. Your work will directly impact how teams plan work, reduce risk, and operate more efficiently.

What You’ll Do
Build EHS Training That Actually Works
Develop presentations, onboarding content, and toolbox talks
Help translate real‑world risks into clear, practical training
Improve Safety Systems (KPA)
Build and update safety forms, workflows, and templates
Test and refine processes to ensure they are easy to use in the field
Help eliminate unnecessary steps, confusion, and rework
Turn Data Into Insight
Review safety observations, inspections, and reports
Identify trends, gaps, and recurring issues
Support reporting that helps leadership make better decisions
Work Across Teams and Locations
Collaborate with island operations and AUC construction teams
Gather feedback and turn it into system and process improvements
Support Real Program Improvements
Assist with updates to key EHS programs (LOTO, Electrical Safety, HazCom, etc.)
Help standardize processes across multiple locations
Help Drive Preventive Work
Support initiatives that move the organization from reactive fixes to planned, efficient work
Contribute ideas that reduce repeat issues and improve how work gets done
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a degree in:
Environmental Health & Safety
Occupational Safety
Engineering or related field
Strong interest in
process improvement, systems, and real‑world application of safety
Someone who:
Notices details others miss
Asks questions and challenges inefficiencies
Can take information and turn it into something clear and usable
Comfortable working in a
structured, office‑based role
while collaborating with field teams
Strong communication and organization skills
Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Interest in learning systems like
KPA
is a big plus
