Position Summary
Reporting to the Business Development Director, this position is responsible for coordinating and executing PSG’s strategy for the regional market segments. The role focuses on the sales and regional strategy of PSG’s Industrial equipment brands, specifically the Aftermarket support strategies for the Blackmer Cryo-Mach product portfolio. The position encompasses achieving regional sales targets and driving the growth strategy, and helps execute a coordinated product and service offering with product management as well as comprehensive market penetration programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive sales activities and strategic direction for Sales Managers who serve as local market experts in their assigned region.
Work with the Channel Sales team and Sales Managers to develop the channel‑to‑market strategies for new business and drive the execution of those strategies in the region.
Identify required sales or partner resources to achieve strategies and sales targets.
Research market opportunities and gaps using multiple sources of market intelligence.
Uncover business drivers, new areas of opportunity, and ensure the voice of the customer is part of strategies and plans.
Understand market offerings of product and services, and work to close any identified gaps.
Work with the regional sales organization to identify and close selling opportunities:
Create plans for revenue and market share development.
Identify growth opportunities including target account lists.
Define the value proposition.
Work closely with the operations team (product management, engineering, quality, scheduling, etc.) where needed to help drive orders through the factory.
Use CRM tools and processes to measure and manage all activities.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering (preferred) or related field.
5 Years of industrial site experience.
Experience with CRM tools such as SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics, Hubspot, etc.
Leadership experience in Channel Management and Business Development.
Travel throughout North America ~75%.
Desired Characteristics
Experience in Cryogenic Industrial Gas or Cryogenic LNG industries.
MBA or advanced degree.
Serve as a conduit between Sales and Operations.
Self‑starter with excellent time management and delegation skills.
Instill a climate of teamwork and positive relationships across all functions.
Actively listen to others and be open to ideas from across all functions.
Bring energy to address business and market challenges, obstacles or setbacks.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships within the team and across functions to create effective solutions.
Pay Range: $107,000.00 - $138,000.00 per year.
