Flex Security Officer South Houston Area
who can step in during critical times and support multiple locations as needed.
FLEX OFFICERS – $15.00 HR

Responsibilities
Available for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. Only candidates within 10 to 15 mile radius will be considered. Positions starting at $15.00 / hour for Flex Officers.
Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, detecting suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal activity.
Gatehouse: Greet truck drivers and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control access to the property.
Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with courtesy and urgency, provide customer service, control access, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, and distribute packages.
Device Check: Scan the tag on the back of approved employee devices, read person’s IMEI on phone to ensure it matches the sticker or paperwork.
North Dock: Monitor trash dump for theft attempts, open and close dock doors, track outbound trucks, count pallets for inbound trucks, and monitor open dock doors during peak season projects.
South Dock: Count pallets for inbound trucks, monitor projects during peak season, send and receive emails, type truck information, and open and close dock doors.
Metal Detector: Check devices in and out; only approved devices with a sticker or paperwork are allowed. Ensure visitors clear through the X‑ray and that no prohibited items enter the building.
Tracker: Keep track of all high‑value loads via computer software.
Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Must be available for on‑call roles.
Flexible in supporting shifts.
Mornings, mid‑day, overnight, and weekend availability required.
Available for 2 shifts, 4–5 days a week required for locations in South Houston.
High school degree or equivalent.
Non‑commissioned security license required.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
Minimum of one year of security experience.
Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug). This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
Client‑facing, professional demeanor for Class A buildings.
