Security Investigator Specialist

This position requires the ability to execute, analyze, plan, recommend, and evaluate investigations and security operations.

Conduct investigations involving unauthorized disclosure, employee misconduct, misuse of property, theft, violence in the workplace, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss.

Prepare investigative reports and other written materials needed to support disciplinary actions, grievance hearings, and appeals.

Review and evaluate background reports for employment and facility access.

Assist in the administration of automated security systems including but not limited to access control, badging, and visitor monitoring software.

This position requires you to be able to obtain a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration, and you must be able to obtain an interim security clearance and start employment within 45 days of the interim security clearance being granted. All offers are conditional until interim security clearance is granted by DCSA (Defense Counter Intelligence Security Agency).

Lead security investigations and initiatives from planning through completion, ensuring timely, thorough completion, and compliant execution.

Team Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders to support informed decision-making and rapid response.

Continuous Improvement

Continuously evaluate processes and leverage data insights to strengthen security strategies and improve investigative outcomes.

Bachelor’s Degree or combination of experience and education required.

Experience executing end-to-end investigations, including witness statements and the preparation of detailed investigative summaries that meet regulatory or contractual standards required.

Ability to travel from site-to-site to conduct investigations required.Availability to occasionally work weekends and evenings or early morning shifts to conduct investigations required.

Ability to obtain a secret clearance required.
