Local Team Collaboration:
- We take pride in our new partnership with an existing practice of 8 physicians and a practice coordinator at Presbyterian Dr. Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital.
- Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.

Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery.
- ACLS, PALS, moderate sedation exam, required for non-ABEM/ABOEM physicians.
- ATLS required.
- Caselogs, including intubations, in the previous 12 months.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Flexible Scheduling:
- 24-hour or 48-hour shifts.
- Advanced scheduling 90 days out to plan for travel.
- Hourly rate includes cost for travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rapid Assessment and Stabilization of Patients
- Initiate life-saving interventions (airway management, resuscitation, IV access, medications, etc.) and decide which patients can be treated locally versus transferred. EM Physicians admin and round on inpatients on weekends.
- Provide immediate stabilization for critically ill or injured patients, often with limited resources.
- Coordination of Transfers and Consultations
- Identify patients requiring higher levels of care (e.g., trauma, cardiac, stroke, or complex medical conditions).
- Arrange safe and timely transfer to tertiary care centers, including communicating with EMS, regional hospitals, and specialists
- Broad Clinical Scope and Resource Management
- Manage a wide variety of medical, surgical, obstetric, and pediatric emergencies due to the limited on-site specialty coverage

- Dr. Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital has a dedicated sleep room for the physicians. They also provide all meals while working.
- Traveling to Tucumcari, NM: Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport (AMA) in Amarillo, TX, roughly a 2-hour drive. The airport has regular service through Southwest, American Airlines, and United Airlines
