Job Description
Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking a full-time educator to join our high school division as a Computer Science, Engineering and Robotics teacher and member of our STEM team for the 2026-27 school year.

This position offers an exciting leadership opportunity to shape and expand our engineering, coding, and robotics curriculum for students in 9th through 12th grades in a student‑centered, project‑based learning environment, including a Maker Space.

Responsibilities

Shape and expand the engineering, coding, and robotics curriculum for 9th‑12th grade students.

Lead a Maker Space and supervise students in hands‑on projects.

Plan and expand a well‑rounded sequence of computer science and engineering courses to inspire students at all levels.

Encourage critical thinking, independence, and creativity through project‑based learning.

Collaborate with the STEM team to develop innovative instructional strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.

Master’s degree in Education preferred.

Experience teaching engineering, robotics, or supervising a maker space is strongly preferred.

Passion for building students’ computational thinking and programming skills.

Salary
The full‑time equivalent salary range is $65,000 - $125,000, depending on years of experience.
