
Warranty Administrator - JLR

Essential Duties
Work with Warranty Supervisor to keep vehicles in correct order, physically and on RO System.
Handle all warranty parts orders.
Communicate all part orders with Warranty Supervisor and Parts Department: Confirm all part orders.
Work directly with Data entry/Warranty Clerk to enter information in warranty system.
Provide backup for Data Entry/Warranty Clerk.
Look and confirm part numbers and operation codes.
Track RO report and confirm accuracy.
Communicate with the Parts Department to ensure accuracy of parts information on RO report.
Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SHIFT:
Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm with possibility of overtime and/or weekend work as directed by business need.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid US Driver's License.
Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
6+ months of warranty training or experience.
Type 45 WPM.
Drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of computer system, RO reporting system, and parts ordering system.
Working technical knowledge of automotive vehicles of all makes.
Must be able to discuss repairs with all technicians, along with Supervisor and Port Representative and understand technical information, to communicate information onto written descriptions for warranty purposes.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and communicate clear and concise instructions to employees.
Physical Working Attributes
Lift, push, and or pull up to 10lbs.
Some work performed in shop and around building when required to locate vehicles or communicate with technicians.
Technical work performed in an open shop environment with no air conditioning and minimal heating.
