Do you bring out the star in your students? Our motto here at Taylor Robinson Music is "Learn to Play From the Heart", and we are looking for private music instructors who share the same philosophy. We strive to make music lessons as accessible and affordable to as many people as possible because we believe the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place.
Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Piano. Although we do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio in the Morgan's Point Resort, TX area, we have students needing teachers ASAP. Lessons can occur in the students' homes; at your own home or studio; or via webcam. The majority of our students still prefer in‑person lessons, so local instructors who can host students or travel within the Morgan's Point Resort area are required.
Contractually you are paid on an independent contractor basis with a rate of $20–$30 per hour, depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention. You control your schedule and curriculum, while Taylor Robinson Music handles advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to allow you to focus on teaching.
Responsibilities
Teach private music lessons, primarily piano, to students of all ages.
Travel to students' homes or prepare lessons at your own location within the Morgan's Point Resort area.
Maintain accurate lesson records, invoices, and student progress reports.
Communicate regularly with the office for scheduling and administrative matters.
Adhere to COVID‑19 protocols by wearing masks, sanitizing hands, and practicing physical distancing when necessary.
Promote and grow your own student roster within the framework provided by the company.
Qualifications
Either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience.
Strong communication skills and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Comfortable with both in‑person and occasional webcam lessons.
