Job Overview
The Operations & Facilities Management Department (OFMD) at WashU Medicine provides essential services that sustain the medical campus mission of excellence in patient care, research, and education. OFMD manages the maintenance and operation of more than 65 buildings, including the 11‑story Neuroscience Research Building. This role serves as a Project Manager, facilitating project meetings, monitoring budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with codes, and escalating issues to support successful project outcomes.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Organize and facilitate project meetings
Monitor budgets and schedules
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and institutional standards
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, provide guidance on architectural and building systems
Escalate or resolve issues to support successful project outcomes
Integrate input from campus partners and recommend effective solutions balancing quality, schedule, and institutional goals
Salary Range
Grade G13: $65,900.00 – $112,700.00 annually
Working Conditions
Normal office environment
Typically sitting at desk or table
Repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement
Requires travel on campus
Office equipment used
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Experience: Architectural Design, Design/Build, Renovation, Space Planning, and/or Construction Management (3 years)

Driver’s License: Not required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: Higher Education, Medical School, Healthcare, or Facilities Planning and Project Management (5 years), Engineering (5 years)
