Summary
The Washington Nationals seek an organized, detail-oriented Manager of Group Hospitality & Logistics to oversee the coordination, activation, and execution of all Group Sales hospitality programs and Fan Experience Packages (FEPs). Reporting to the Director of Group Sales, this role serves as the operational backbone of the Nationals’ group business, ensuring seamless delivery of all group outings, from community events to corporate hospitality experiences, and exceeding guest expectations.
The Manager will lead the end‑to‑end logistics process for all group events, including scheduling, group ticket distribution, coordination with group ticketing vendors, and the on‑site facilitation of activations. This position also manages the planning and execution of theme nights, special ticket events, and large‑scale fan experiences, working closely with ticketing, marketing, community relations, and ballpark operations to ensure a cohesive and premium fan experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, coordination, and activation of all Fan Experience Packages (FEPs) and group hospitality events throughout the season.
Serve as the primary liaison between the Group Sales team, Ticket Operations, Ballpark Operations, Marketing, Community Relations, and other internal departments to ensure flawless event programming and execution.
Manage group ticket fulfillment, redemption, timelines, and communication with internal stakeholders and group leaders as needed.
Lead the logistical planning and implementation of theme nights, special ticket events, and large‑scale group experiences that align with organizational goals and programming.
Create and maintain detailed event timelines, activation plans, and post‑event recaps to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with Group Sales and Ticketing leadership to ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational capabilities.
Supervise game‑day group activations and hospitality areas to ensure exceptional service and execution standards.
Collaborate with marketing and community departments to develop and execute promotional tie‑ins for theme nights and community‑driven events.
Manage group‑related inventory and coordinate communication with ticketing systems, vendors, and key stakeholders.
Collaborate with CRM and Analytics teams to optimize lead generation, targeting, and campaign performance.
Partner closely with Ticket Operations and Service teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellence throughout the sales and fulfillment process.
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, community organizations, schools, youth leagues, and local businesses to expand the Nationals’ group base and community footprint.
Represent the Nationals at internal, client‑facing, and community events to promote group offerings and elevate brand visibility.
Represent the Nationals at off‑site community and networking events to promote ticket opportunities and enhance brand presence.
On game‑day, serve as Manager on Duty and assist in Ticket Sales/Services initiatives.
Compensation
The projected annual salary for this position is $45,200 - $50,000 per year. This position is also eligible for commissions based on the Nationals Ticket Sales incentive program. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organizational requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
