What will you do?

Support teachers through training and ongoing mentorship; holding accountable for meeting Kido expectations

You'll help ensure learning spaces are organized, clean, and inviting

Be hands-on helping to deliver a great learning experience for our children and support the team to meet curriculum aims and objectives. Work closely with teachers in other classrooms to model effective teaching techniques.

Curriculum – help to deliver the best and most up-to-date curriculum for our children. You'll provide support for both the Assistant Director and the teaching staff by gathering resources, making copies, and suggesting best practices for curriculum implementation.

Relationships – You will encourage open lines of feedback and communication between colleagues, parents, and children. You'll create meaningful relationships within your team and with parents to provide the best service for our families.

Willingness to jump in and celebrate successes with teachers and ability to also acknowledge areas of growth and provide appropriate coaching and support for the team to meet their goals.

Any other duties as reasonably requested by the school management

Collaborating with the team to ensure that we are providing the best possible care and education to the children and families we serve.

Offering recommendations about how we can improve our offerings and always push the boundaries of excellence.

Applicants Must Meet The Following Minimum Requirements

MUST be Director Qualified per state of IL 407 Requirements

You must have 4+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

Ideal candidates will have some ability to speak Spanish to support with our Spanish curriculum.

As part of our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children in our care, the successful candidate is expected to undergo an enhanced fingerprint-based background check.
