Structural Project Manager - Miami

The position of Project Manager will offer you the ability to apply your knowledge of structural engineering to manage several projects and a team of engineers to deliver successful projects. As a key member of the engineering team, you will work on a wide range of projects for each stage of design from conceptual studies through construction administration. Our fast-paced environment requires the ability to work both independently and in a leadership role as part of the office team.

Duties
This is a diverse role and the duties include:

Oversee entire projects and project teams

Preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, analytical models, reports, and correspondence

Oversee construction administration including review of shop drawings, RFI’s and field observation

Attend internal and external meetings with clients and design team members

Provide QA/QC for projects and team members

Assist with the growth of younger engineers

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years experience in structural engineering with emphasis on building structures

PE license

Knowledge of building codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI

Expertise with structural programs including RAM Concept, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, REVIT

Project and staff management experience

Excellent planning and organizational experience

Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges
