Truck Driver Class A – Pay $1,610 to $2,100 per week. Regional weekly, home time. Location: Omaha, NE.
Job Summary
Driver unloads freight with a roller conveyor system or using roll cages. On the account: miles per week (1,200–1,500). Home time: 5 days out & 2 days home – days off: Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs. Pay: Earn per week $1,610–$2,100.
Responsibilities
Driving dry van and some refrigerated loads to deliver designated locations. Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Requirements
Valid Class A CDL license. Must be at least 21 years old. Minimum 3 months’ experience. Must not be on or off the S.A.P. Program. Ability to pass DOT physical and pre‑employment drug screen. Clean MVR and background: no more than 2 moving violations in the last year or 3 in the last 3 years. Applicants under 23 cannot have more than 1 moving violation in the last year or 2 in the past 3 years. No reckless driving violations, no negligent or inattentive driving violations, no leave the scene of an accident, etc. No felonies: Class A Felonies must be 10 years old; Class B & C Felonies must be outside 7 years from conviction.
All other charges will be reviewed
Must be out of prison for at least 5 years
Accidents
No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 5 years; no more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.
Skills
Excellent time‑management skills, ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
