Ophthalmology - Cataract & Anterior Segment Surgery .
Practice Overview
You’ll join a stable group of ophthalmologists, adding a new surgeon for succession planning and sustained cataract volume
Referral‑driven model with strong optometry relationships and an adult, surgery‑forward patient population
Practice footprint includes multiple clinic sites and access to ambulatory surgery centers
Procedures include cataracts (including premium IOLs), femtosecond laser, MIGS, pterygium, and advanced anterior segment work based on training
Schedule
Clinic schedule is typically Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM
Blocked OR time with the ability to run 2‑3 OR days per week
Clinic volume commonly ranges from 25 to 50 patients per physician per day, supported by experienced ophthalmic technicians
High surgical throughput potential, often up to 30‑40 cases per week, depending on your pace and case mix
Compensation & Benefits
Employed model with a one‑year income guarantee of $425,000 – $475,000, then transition to a percentage of collections (production incentives commonly around 35%, varies by experience)
Malpractice coverage is included with tail
Time off typically includes 4 weeks PTO plus 1 additional week for CME; CME allowance around $4,000 annually

MD/DO; residents and fellows considered
