Job Description
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a part‑time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide quarterly on‑site visits.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Part‑Time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide vital nutritional care through quarterly on‑site visits. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dietitian seeking a flexible schedule and competitive compensation.
Schedule:
Flexible
Hours:
8-hour on‑site visit per quarter
Travel Reimbursement:
Paid at the same hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility
Mileage Reimbursement:
Paid at the current federal mileage rate
Responsibilities
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and resident outcomes as needed.
Review and approve menus on a semi‑annual basis to ensure they meet USDA guidelines.
Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
Perform other tasks as assigned within scope of practice.
Identify high‑risk residents for periodic nutritional assessments.
Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Current state licensure/certification if mandated by the state.
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience.
Experience reviewing menus for facilities.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, develop and implement effective plans for improvement.
Proficiency in providing general nutrition.
Familiarity with state survey processes and adherence to nutrition care regulations.
