
Outpatient PM&R Physician

Position Overview
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible physiatrist to join our expanding outpatient practice focused on general, musculoskeletal, and neurorehabilitation services in Providence, RI. The role offers a multidisciplinary team environment with onsite PT, OT, SLP, Audiology, and Aquatic Therapy, and opportunities for leadership and service‑line growth.
Position Highlights
Outpatient, non‑interventional PM & R
Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available
Opportunity to cover inpatient 1 weekend per month
Manage musculoskeletal and neuro‑rehabilitation patients across the lifespan
Provide EMG/NCV diagnostics and ultrasound‑guided procedures (preferred)
Collaborate with therapists, education, social services, and community resources
Champion evidence‑based, goal‑directed care in a transdisciplinary model
Option to teach residents and medical students at Brown University Health
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM & R)
Eligible for Rhode Island medical licensure
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
2–3 years of clinical experience preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Very competitive base salary $270‑$350k DOE + RVU structure with high earnings potential
Full malpractice with tail coverage
CME, licensing, and DEA allowance: $3,500/year
401(k) with employer match
