Job Summary
Red White & Blue Thrift is seeking a hardworking, dedicated Supply Chain Associate to join our team. This physically demanding role requires loading, unloading, organizing, and lifting a variety of items, including clothing, furniture, and miscellaneous donations. The Supply Chain Associate will work behind the scenes to support operations, assist with donation pick‑ups, and fill trailers efficiently with donations to maximize storage. This role requires teamwork, stamina, and adaptability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Load, unload, and organize donations such as clothing, furniture, and other household items.

Fill trailers with donations, ensuring items are stacked and secured to maximize space and efficiency.

Assist drivers on routes for donation pick‑ups, helping to load and secure items.

Maintain organized inventory by categorizing and placing items in designated areas.

Support overall thrift store operations by promptly responding to demands and requests.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and productive work processes.

Take direction well and complete tasks accurately to support overall team goals.

Work comfortably in various weather conditions as needed for loading and unloading tasks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to work in a busy and fast‑paced environment, maintaining a steady pace throughout shifts.

Team‑oriented attitude with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Reliable and able to take direction well from supervisors and team leaders.

Experience using MHE (material handling equipment).

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry it for short distances.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Visual acuity to read road signs, maps, and operating instructions.

Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling bags and boxes.

Strong back and abdominal muscles to maintain proper posture while lifting heavy objects.

Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.

Good hearing to detect warning signals and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

Work Environment

Dynamic and consistently busy atmosphere.

Noise Level: Work environment is noisy; ability to work effectively in such environment is required.

Lighting: Bright lighting throughout front and back of store.

Interactions with others: Regular interactions with customers, donors, and coworkers. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Flexibility: Employees may be asked to switch tasks based on operational needs and work in all areas as assigned.

Language Requirements
Employees are not required to communicate exclusively in English, but a fundamental understanding of written and spoken English for comprehending instructions, reading street signs, and communicating verbally and in writing is necessary.
