Reasons Eating Disorder Center
— Clinical Outreach & Alumni Engagement Specialist
Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking a Clinical Outreach & Alumni Engagement Specialist to support residential treatment facilities located in the Pasadena and Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area. The role focuses on high-volume clinical outreach, strategic territory planning, and the development and management of the alumni engagement lifecycle to strengthen referrals and support ongoing recovery.
Responsibilities
Implement policies, procedures, systems, and strategic goals set forth by senior leadership and ensure alignment across outreach activities.
Maximize eating disorder referrals by developing new business, strengthening existing relationships, and strategically re-engaging past or lapsed accounts to grow referral activity in alignment with business development goals.
Deliver exceptional customer service to referral partners, prospective families, and community stakeholders to uphold high satisfaction and strengthen Reasons EDC's reputation.
Develop, sustain, and grow a robust referral network by identifying high-value accounts and strengthening relationships across segments (EAPs, primary care, clinicians, RDs, hospitals, schools, agencies, counties, and managed care organizations).
Meet or exceed weekly outreach KPIs by completing a designated number of qualified business development contacts to support admissions and growth objectives.
Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all outreach interactions within the CRM/referral database and keep account information current and complete.
Conduct regular in-person and virtual visits, phone calls, and written follow-ups to primary accounts, cultivating strong, credible, and consistent relationships.
Monitor referral activity and admissions generated from referral partners; perform timely thank-you outreach and ensure partner satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years in behavioral health care business development/marketing with measurable results. Knowledge of psychiatric, eating disorders and chemical dependency treatment principles is preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience working with treatment center alumni or patients preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Must maintain a valid driver license or ID in applicable state within 90 days of employment.
