Summary
Supply and Demand Planner is responsible for import purchasing processes through to purchase orders that ensure delivery of import material that is shipped from Korea & China to meet the MRP on the basis of production plan. Also responsible for supporting the transactional activities related to the management of the supplier. Such activities include request for inventory management based order management, rectifying delivery discrepancies and order verification, Proper inventory level considering the delivery lead-time.
Responsibilities
Place purchasing order toKorean Vender& Chinese subsidiary, and Local Vendors
Communicate past-due purchasing orders, reschedule requests, and expediting deliveries
SetMOQ/MPQand safety stock, running MRP and optimizing inventory management
Serve asprimary contactand provide positive discussionto thePurchasingteam,SCMteam, finance team and sale team to fulfill customer needs
Responsible for generating the relevant data and report forPurchasing & Material Managementand providing the visibility of inventory
Prepare and submitDaily, Weekly andmonthly KPI report
Deploy purchasing process improve to achieve work efficient
Participate in cross-functional business process improvement activities as required
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in general business, business administration, supply chain, logistics, or relatedfield requiredMBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
Knowledge with ERP systems
Experience
1-6+ years of experience in materials planning, including a thorough understanding of MRP system (SAP preferred)
Supply chain and logistics
Manufacturing or automotive experience preferred
