
Business Operations Manager

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Business Operations Manager with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.

This position will include coordinating and working with internal and external organizations, in supporting the goals and objectives of the Office of the Secretary of War, Research and Engineering, Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). The candidate must understand how to operate in a deliberate manner in support of the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW).
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties
Work closely with other team members including Acquisition Specialists, Business Analysts, and other technical staff
Track, assign, and close high visibility action in CATMS
Prepare reports according to customer specifications.
Ensure timely responses to OSD, Congressional, and senior DoW leader inquiries.
Draft and staff decision memos, executive summaries, and information papers
Collaborate on executive level summaries and performance narratives
Maintain content in key platforms (e.g., Microsoft)
Maintain action trackers and executive level battle rhythm products
Required Qualifications
5+ years related experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience as acquisition analyst/project analyst/coordinator for an OSD level organization.
Ability to uphold a strict level of discretion and confidentiality
Gather and develop requirements for assigned projects based on stakeholder input.
Refine and decompose requirements to a degree specified by the Government.
Prioritize, de-conflict, and validate requirements with stakeholders.
Assist government leads with conducting capability gap and requirements validation/re-validation assessments in response to emerging threats, changing external guidance, and realignment of mission priorities
Analyze potential solutions selected by the Government and assess the ability of each solution to meet the validated requirements
Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage.
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills – including the ability to develop solutions in new and creative ways.
Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to brief senior executives with little notice.
Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
Clearance Requirement
Must be a US Citizen, hold a current DoD Top Secret Clearance.

Bachelor’s Degree
