Machine Learning Engineer
As a machine learning engineer on our defense technology team, you will train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data and support mission success across the Department of Defense market. You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver AI solutions that enable faster mission success.
Responsibilities
Train, test, deploy, and maintain machine learning models that process large datasets.
Own and define the direction of mission‑critical AI solutions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement a wide variety of AI use cases.
Guide clients through ML algorithm, tool, and framework selection and deployment.
Define AI strategy for national security challenges.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in artificial intelligence, data science, or machine learning engineering in a research or professional role.
Experience with Python and libraries such as scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Experience developing code in Python, C++, Rust, or Java.
Experience with deep learning, computer vision, or generative AI.
Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning.
Experience with data handling and model development.
Ability to solve client issues and problems.
Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred as a plus).
Nice to Have
Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies such as LLMs, MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph.
Ability to develop and maintain scalable data stores for big data.
Ability to create software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data.
Master’s degree.
