Harrison Financial Services (HFS) is seeking a sophisticated wealth strategist to support the delivery of advanced planning solutions for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role partners directly with Lead Wealth Advisors to enhance client relationships by analyzing, modeling, and supporting the implementation of complex wealth strategies.
The Senior Wealth Strategist serves as a key technical and analytical resource, ensuring the financial components of planning recommendations are thoroughly evaluated, coordinated, and executed with precision. The Lead Wealth Advisor retains primary responsibility for the client relationship.
This role is accountable for the financial architecture, analytical rigor, execution, coordination, and works in close collaboration with the firms advanced planning leadership, external SMEs to ensure fully integrated client solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Analysis
Develop and refine financial planning analyses across cash flow, balance sheet, and scenario modeling to support complex client strategies.
Evaluate the impact of financial planning decisions across the client’s full financial picture.
Prepare detailed analyses and recommendations to support client decision‑making.
Leverage financial planning software to model complex scenarios and quantify outcomes.
Collaborate with internal and external SMEs to align financial analysis with legal, tax, and estate structuring considerations.
Partner closely with Lead Wealth Advisors to prepare for client meetings.
Provide financial technical insight to support complex planning discussions.
Translate financial planning concepts into structured, actionable strategies.
Support post‑meeting follow‑up, ensuring recommendations are clearly documented and advanced in coordination with appropriate stakeholders.
Execution Oversight & Coordination
Support coordination and implementation of planning strategies across internal team members and external professionals.
Coordinate with internal team members and external partners to advance agreed upon planning recommendations.
Monitor progress of deliverables and track execution.
Maintain accountability and alignment across all parties involved in implementation.
Client Experience Support
Help ensure a consistent, high‑quality planning experience for UHNW and multi‑family office clients.
Maintain organization and accuracy of client financial data, plans, and reports.
Anticipate client needs and identify planning opportunities in collaboration with planning team.
Support Lead Advisors by ensuring planning related activity is executed efficiently and accurately.
Ongoing Planning & Optimization
Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency, liquidity, and planning outcomes in coordination with the broader planning team.
Continuously review and refine financial components of client plans based on changing client circumstances and market conditions.
Stay current on financial planning strategies, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Education & Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
Series 7, 6 & 63 (must be obtained within 6‑months of employment).
Life and Health (must be obtained within 6‑months of employment).
One or more of the following preferred
CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
Experience
7–15+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, tax, or related field.
Experience working with high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients required.
Background in complex planning environments (RIA, family office, CPA firm, or similar) strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of tax planning and strategy, cash flow and liquidity management, balance sheet analysis, estate and wealth transfer planning concepts.
Proficiency in financial planning and modeling software.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Professional Characteristics
