Job Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong Creo experience to support product design and development. The candidate will be responsible for creating robust mechanical designs, 3D models, and engineering drawings while ensuring manufacturability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using Creo Parametric
Create detailed 2D drawings with proper GD&T standards
Work on product design, redesign, and engineering changes
Perform tolerance stack-up and fitment analysis
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams
Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities
Ensure designs meet DFM/DFA and cost targets
Maintain BOMs and engineering documentation
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in Creo (3D modeling, assemblies, drawings)
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, plastics, casting)
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in mechanical design
Preferred:
Experience in automotive / aerospace / industrial equipment
Knowledge of Windchill or other PLM tools
Exposure to simulation tools (ANSYS, FEA)
