Job Summary
Serve on the Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) that meets twice per year to review resident milestones and resident progress, becoming chair of the committee starting July 2026.
Serve on the Program Evaluation Committee (PEC) that meets once per year prior to the department retreat to review all aspects of the residency program.
Attend department executive committee meetings (bimonthly).
Review medical student applications to the residency program and participate in residency interviews.
Assist with preparation of GME and ACGME reports:
ACGME - Accreditation Data System (ADS) every September
GME - submission of the annual report on New Innovations every summer
Assist with preparation for ACGME site visits and GME special reviews of the department
Coordinating Residence and Medical students in the field Otolaryngology and sub-specialties.
Serve on Institutional councils and committees and other assignments as directed by Department Chair.
Participate as a member of the Department Executive Committee.
Attend required departmental conferences.
Conduct research that leads to publication and presentation.
Assist with department Q&A programs.
Develop hospital-based practice.
Participate with other department physicians in night call at all affiliated hospitals.
Perform attending coverage for adult and pediatric consultations.
Required Qualifications
Medical Degree.
Graduate of ACGME-accredited Residency Program.
New York State Medical Licensure.
Work Schedule
Variable Days; Variable (Part-Time)
Salary Grade/Rank
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
