
Associate Attorney, Consumer Litigation

Scott+Scott Attorneys at Law LLP seeks an experienced Litigation Associate to join their Consumer Litigation practice group . This Attorney will initiate new cases, draft pleadings and briefs, generate and respond to discovery requests, take and defend depositions, and actively engage in case management.
This is a full time, salaried role based at our New York, New York office with the potential to win increasing responsibilities within the practice group and attain professional growth by demonstrating knowledge, aptitude, and skill.
Required Experience & Education
3+ years of consumer or class action litigation experience required
Excellent legal research and written and oral communication skills
Experience with researching and drafting pleadings and briefs
Experience with drafting and responding to discovery requests
Experience preparing for taking and defending depositions
Excellent case and project management skills
Travel to depositions, mediations, meetings, and hearings, as necessary
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance
Admission in good standing to the New York State Bar.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this salaried, exempt position is $170,000 to 230,000.
Salary determination will depend on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
