Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale solar projects from early development through full construction execution and commissioning. This role owns the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of complex solar repower initiatives ranging from $50M to $1B.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience with utility-scale solar assets, understands how repower designs integrate into existing facilities, and can lead cross-functional teams through technically and financially complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead early-stage project development, including screening, diligence, permitting support, and pre-construction planning
Own and manage project capital budgets, schedules, and execution strategies
Transition projects into field execution with full accountability for delivery
Direct and coordinate all project functions during execution, including Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Supply Chain, and Development
Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives
Manage contract administration, approvals, and change control orders with full financial authority
Oversee commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness
Analyze technical and financial data to identify risks, trends, and optimization opportunities
Serve as the primary company representative with contractors, regulators, agencies, and local communities
Utilize project management and reporting software to track progress and manage
Experience managing utility‑scale solar or renewable energy projects
Demonstrated success leading projects from development through construction execution
Strog understanding of existing solar assets and repower project integration
Experience managing large capital budgets and complex project schedules
Ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional project teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to represent the company with external stakeholders
