Overview
Salary Range: $105,628-$177,513
The Design Lead will have deep expertise in Manhattan SCALE WMS to lead solution design, configuration, and implementation efforts across our warehouse operations. This role is critical in translating business requirements into scalable, efficient WMS solutions that drive operational excellence. This role will also require owning the end-to-end implementation of projects the individual will be assigned to.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding experience for new clients.
Focus on the functional design of Manhattan SCALE WMS solutions across inbound, outbound, inventory, and labor management processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.
Configure workflows, business rules, and location strategies using Manhattan SCALE tools.
Serve as the design authority during implementation, ensuring consistency and scalability across sites.
Partner with technical teams to support integration with ERP systems, automation equipment, and reporting platforms.
Facilitate & participate UAT , training, and go‑live support for end users and operations teams.
Troubleshoot functional issues and provide guidance on best practices and system optimization.
Stay current with Manhattan SCALE product updates and industry trends to inform solution strategy.
Ability to travel up to 30% as well as work a Hybrid Schedule as required by company policy.
Qualifications
4-6 years of hands‑on experience with Manhattan SCALE WMS in a functional or design lead capacity.
Proven track record of leading full‑cycle WMS implementations or major enhancements.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
Proficiency in configuring Scale workflows, business rules, and technical set up within SCALE.
Familiar with SQL, experience with Scale customization, managing patches, version control/upgrades.
Familiar with RF/Mobile versions.
Familiar with integrations with ERP including APIs/EDIs.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams including IT teams like infra and integration, operations, and vendors.
3PL and multi‑client site experience preferred.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
Experience with ERP integration (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Familiarity with automation systems and WCS interfaces.
Knowledge of SSRS/PBIRS or other reporting tools Cognos/SCI.
Certification in Manhattan SCALE or related supply chain technologies.
